Dr. Jessica Gunnlaugsson
The Animal House Staff
Born and raised in Casco, Dr. Jessica’s childhood was filled with dreams of becoming a zoo keeper. Her love for animals led to volunteer positions at the NEW Zoo and Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. These early forays in animal care blossomed into a passion for the veterinary field, resulting in a DVM from UW-Madison. Her interests lie in primary care, internal medicine and urgent care. A proven role model for new DVM graduates, she is formalizing her approach through the MBark Mentorship Program. In her free time Dr. Jessica enjoys Wisconsin’s natural areas. A trap shooter since age 12, she continues league competition. Permanently settled in Northeastern Wisconsin, Dr. Jessica is thrilled to be nestled in Brussels, where Belgian tripe is just a country mile away.
