Dr. Jessie Waldvogel
The Animal House Staff
Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Dr. Jessie loved the outdoors and being surrounded by the natural world with a family history in the fishing industry. She followed this passion studying plant biology and pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, ultimately obtaining her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. Dr. Jessie finds all aspects of veterinary medicine fascinating as the veterinary field is constantly advancing; however, she enjoys primary care – fostering the human-animal bond between owners and their pets with an emphasis on ensuring patient comfort in their geriatric/golden years. An avid Wisconsin sports fan, she enjoys cheering on the Badgers and the Green Bay Packers, along with keeping up her own volleyball skills in a sports league. She currently shares a home with her husband Andy and two middle aged/older cats – Javier and Jemma. A true Wisconsinite, she is always excited for the next Friday fish fry, cheese curds and booyah!
