Veterinary Education
The Animal House supports those interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. Every year we assist dozens of high-school, post-secondary, and college students in gaining practical experience.
Internship Opportunities
We welcome students at the high school, technical school and college level to visit our facilities and observe and assist. If you are interested, please contact us by sending a letter of inquiry to Blaire Hill.
Exploring Careers Series for High School Students
Dr. Patrick Warpinski and Dr. Heidi Lewis host this session series for high-school students interested in becoming veterinarians. Six separate one hour sessions are a mix of presentation and demonstration with plenty of time for questions. Other veterinary care related careers will also be touched upon.
This series is part of the Exploring Careers program supported by area public schools. Students who are interested should contact their high school counselor or check out www.learningforlife.org/exploring/
